6/22/2021 - big thanks to "start" for ruining my spelling forever (no idea how i didn't catch that), and no im never gonna fix it lel
hit the ball into enemies to defeat them, prevent enemies from reaching the bottom of the screen.
use AD or the arrow keys to move the paddle, and use the mouse for menus.
the particle effects might cause some lag if you're playing on a potato, or other vegetable, but you can disable them in the options menu.

some bonus tips:
- you can block enemies with the paddle and knock them back. this won't work as well if you try to block too many enemies at once however.
- you can build a combo by killing enemies to get extra points, but missing the ball will reset your combo.
- the direction the ball bounces off the paddle depends on which direction it is moving.
- if you move into the border you can quickly travel to the opposite side of the screen.
- the large, green, square shaped enemies can spawn other enemies, so they should be dealt with as quickly as possible.
- enable heck mode to descend into the depths of heck and make the game impossibly hard.
